How do deposits work?

When a booking is confirmed, the couple pays a 20% deposit through vow.day to secure the date. The deposit goes directly to the supplier (minus the platform fee), and the remaining balance is paid closer to the wedding — either in installments or as a single payment, suggested 30 days before the big day.

When will I receive my payout?

Payouts are handled by Stripe and follow your payout schedule (weekly by default). You can see your schedule and connected bank account under Payments → Manage payout settings in your supplier dashboard.

How do I cancel a booking?

Couples can cancel from the booking's page in their dashboard — the cancellation policy and any refund due are shown before you confirm. Suppliers can cancel from their bookings page, which automatically triggers a full deposit refund to the couple.

How do I connect Google Calendar?

In your supplier dashboard, go to Calendar and click "Connect Google Calendar". Once connected, your busy dates sync automatically and block those dates on your vow.day availability.

How do I change my wedding date?

Accepted Answer

Open the booking in your dashboard and request a date change — your supplier will be asked to approve it. If they can't make the new date work, message them to discuss options.
